Plot
Julius Caesar, who is the Roman King, is unhappy that a tiny Gaulish village (now France) is acting as a hindrance for him to take full ownership of the locality. So he hatches a plan to clean the forests in the vicinity of their area and construct The Mansion of the Gods, a comfy zone for the Romans. Here, the Gauls are either decided to be ward off or get them lured to the Mansion.
Well, the Gauls seem to be insurmountable when they drink a secret drink. This drives the Romans to be cautious of the Gauls. So what does the Gauls do? Do they make the Romans victorious in their quest for a lavish lifestyle?

Analysis
This movie is adapted from the 17th volume of the Asterix comic story franchise. This film was originally made in French and is 3d animation. The English dubbed version which we see deals with social concerns including environmental degradation, widespread urbanization, social prejudice, etc. in a humorous vein. There is also a story of slaves who are appointed in the construction area. Their point of view is also touched in the film by the directors Louis Clichy and Alexander Astier.Â
