Analysis
The plot is humorous and fun-filled. Even though the story might look cliché, Swifty’s energetic outlook and perseverance set a good example, especially for children. It focuses on teamwork, determination, and positive thoughts. Swifty’s determination and hard work resonate with the importance of the dream. The presence of other characters vibrates the responsibility of Swifty other than his work. His role as a friend to the introvert polar bear P.B., the albatross Lemmy, the red fox Jade, otters Leopold, and Bertha is highlighted in crucial times. Magda, his caribou boss’ appearance shows his devoted role as an employee who would do anything to keep his friends out of danger and accomplish his dream. It offers several significant lessons to children. Yet like most mainstream animated movies, the similar trope of the hero protecting the friends while uprooting the evil genius and saving the planet is also used here. The fact that Swifty is a fox who wants to be the super mail-carrying dog is meaningless. Any attempt to portray relevance behind the use of different accents has surly failed and thus stands unnecessary. Nevertheless, it also subtly puts in the message of global warming. Not sure if the young audience can catch the relevance of this environmental issue, but it was worth structuring the story based on it.Â

Verdict
This movie can be an entertaining watch for adult animation lovers and children. Heads up for the parents out there. It carries a light notion of violence between characters, playful weapons such as snow guns and drills are used. The villainous walrus spreads poisonous gases and abducts characters. Nevertheless, it emphasizes empathy, teamwork, hard work, and environmental awareness while not carrying a too heavy plot.
