The film was nominated for award under the Best Original Song category. The movie unfolds with a terrorist plot against the Americans. Top ranking officials of the Navy discover the impending doom. They set out on an operation SEAL to track down the terrorists. The men have to rush up things and prevent an attack that would raze down the American population.
They have their duty to their families that they need to carry out in the course of their operation. Facts from the intelligence wings come as a thunderbolt, and prove to be interesting twists. Finally the officials on the mission track down the terrorists to the border running between the US and Mexico. As the tracking down happens, several secrets are brought to light which add to the tension.
The plot unfolds with the troop that is originally on a rescue operation to Costa Rica. The rescue operation is to save a CIA agent Roselyn Sanchez, who had been abducted and placed under confinement in Costa Rica. Coincidentally, the SEAL operation officials happen to realize that America is under threat. But, as with every other film falling under the same category, the men are concerned about their families.
The movie draws inspiration from actual SEAL operations of the US. Many actors aboard the venture happen to be officials in real-life SEAL operations. So, many of the characters appear stiff. But, interrogation of a terrorist by CIA official with thick beard wins the attention of the audiences. Also, the cinematography is commendable. But there is plenty of difference between a Navy official in a film and real-life officials of the SEAL.
Real life officials are not actors, and they should be better off doing their duty for the country. There is a line of demarcation between real life and reel life. The directors could have made the movie better if they had understood the fact.
