The actress has said that she was quite comfortable with that as it was the demand for the character that she does in the movie. As a matter of fact, Vidya Balan does the role of a brothel’s madam in the movie. It is set against the background of the freedom struggle that happened in India. The movie is an action drama that has been penned down and directed by National Award winner director Srijit Mukherji.

The movie is the remake of a Bengali movie Rajkahini. All of the abuses which she cannot throw otherwise she has done it on the screen. She made a comment in the trailer launch of the movie. The actress said that expletives are not rare in the area from which her character hails, and so they stuck with that As per the plot, the character needs to throw abuses.
