Raghav Mathur
, the Indo-Canadian music maker, has been working on some unconventional music and he has coupled it up with a noble cause. His single named “Until The Sun Comes Up” features Bollywood star
Abhishek Bachchan
and Rapper Nelly. Raghav’s last project was the superhit track ‘Ishq Shava’ from Yash Chopra’s directorial Jab Tak Hai Jaan that was composed by Grammy Award-winning composer AR Rahman and penned by the legendary Gulzar. Raghav Mathur jokingly confesses that he was the second luckiest person on the planet after
Shah Rukh Khan
who got to dance alongside
Katrina Kaif
. He feels blessed to have collaborated with such great musical minds and wishes to create more music that reaches more people and is not restricted to genres or language. “Until The Sun Comes Up” has a vital message about the lack of functional electricity across the globe. Realizing the importance of the issue during his international tours, Raghav collaborated with an international NGO named Solar Aid. The fact that one-third of the world doesn’t get the basic privilege of food, water and functional electricity struck him hard and he wanted to convey it to a larger audience with the help of music. He says that Nelly’s musical work in the song has been phenomenal and enhanced the spirit of the song with the beats and melody. He further adds that working with Abhishek Bachchan was an excellent experience altogether and the trio, Junior Bachchan, Nelly and himself has been a perfect fit for the soundtrack.
