Padmavati To Get A Title Change?

“Padmavati,” a historical movie directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been still in the controversy. Some fringe groups including Karni Sena, are against the film stating that it distorts the history. Although enough explanations were made, they are not ready to hear anything. The film that had been made at a budget of Rs. 190 crores had been sent for censor board certification and had been rejected due to the incomplete form. Now, the CBFC has suggested 26 cuts and provided UA. The protesters say that the film shows the Rajput queen Rani Padmini falling in love with Alauddin Khilji, a Muslim invader. Although the director denied the rumors, they are still angry on the entire film team; especially on the director and the lead actress, Deepika Padukone. Now, the CBFC has suggested a title change “Padmavat,” as it might reduce the controversy. What will happen next? We have to wait and watch the announcement from Sanjay Leela Bhansali!
