The National Commission for Women has sent a notice to Salman Khan demanding an explanation. Salman Khan did not send any reply to the notice. In a development, the National Commission for women sent a summon demanding that he presents himself before the body. But, Salman Khan did not appear before the commission. Following that, the Commission is contemplating the next move. Maneka Gandhi has severely condemned the National Commission for Women for targeting Salman Khan. Maneka Gandhi spoke ‘There are a number of rape cases pending in the country. The National Commission for Women should concentrate on that. It is condemnable that the National Commission is unmindful of the problems and is targeting celebrities. Following the opinion by Menaka Gandhi, there is a clash between Maneka Gandhi and Lalitha Kumaramangalam, the head of the National Commission for women.
