Gokul, who directed ‘Kashmora” with Karthik Sivakumar, approached Vijay Sethupathi for his next. Even without hearing the script, Vijay Sethupathi nodded to do the film. As Vijay Sethupathi has a lot of films to complete now, they decided to shoot the film in August. Gokul thought that Amy Jackson would suit the heroine role and approached her. As she completed her portions in “2.0” with Superstar “Rajinikanth” and has been free without any films, Gokul thought that she would say yes to a remuneration of some lakhs. But, to his surprise, the Madarasa Pattinam star asked for a remuneration of Rs. 1. 5 crores. Shocked Gokul, didn’t get out from it, till now. Hope, he will be searching a new heroine for his script.
