Amit Mishra, The Game Changer!

It is the IPL season when all cricket fans are glued to their Television sets to watch exciting matches and to see the new and old cricketers’ terrific batting or bowling or fielding performances. And sure enough, these sportspeople don’t let us down. In the IPL this year, cricket buffs got to witness one of the most stellar performances of the Delhi Daredevil’s leg-spinner Amit Mishra, who took four wickets against Kings XI Punjab giving away merely 11 runs. The 33-year-old cricketer played a key role in the team's first victory of the season and also won his 100th IPL cap at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi stadium that day. Since he got to bowl only three overs in that match, when the media asked him if he would have liked to bowl one more over, Amit sincerely replied that another over could have sent his figures down. So he was content with what he contributed to the team’s first win. In the post-match press conference, Kings XI Punjab captain David Miller too had praised Amit and called him the game changer of the day.
