Amit said, "As an audience I think no biopic should be made on my father. I feel nobody can act like him... Be like him. It is a difficult biopic."

Amit also adds that he is unsure if they will push the film as the makers are still undecided. Kishore Kumar is a popular playback singer during his time who has crooned in almost all Indian languages.  He died in year 1987 at the age of 58.
