Urdu Voice Over Artist and Radio Jockey Farheen Malik was born and raised in Quetta, Pakistan. She attended FG Public School in the same city and later moved to the former capital city, Karachi, where she studied interior design at Indus University. As a child, Malik loved animals and dreamt of opening a zoo. She found the sounds made by humans and animals intriguing and studied them. As she grew, she listened to the radio regularly and eventually found herself drawn into the profession. In 2006, Farheen Malik entered the industry as a Radio Jockey at Hot FM 105. Simultaneously, she began to work as a Voice Over Artist and an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) artist for various companies and channels, like Geo TV Network, ARY Digital Network, Aaj TV, UFONE, Samsung, K-Electric, and many more.

As an interactive voice response (IVR) artist, it is her voice that tells you why your call has not been answered or when your phone is out of balance, it is her voice that announces information to the customers at the bank, and though almost every individual living in Pakistan has heard Farheen’s voice, no one knew the person behind that voice. It was only during the summer of 2019 when a video of Farheen Malik reading the famous lines went viral on Facebook, and Farheen soon became an overnight sensation. Her popularity allowed her to appear on numerous news channels, including 92 News, Samaa TV, and Dialogue Pakistan. Apart from working at the radio booth, Farheen also works as a host at various red-carpet events. As an animal lover, Farheen is determined to start a foundation catering to the needs of stray animals.
