Afif Chaya

Afif Chaya is a well-known singer and actor. He is a Lebanese TV artist. He was born on 10 January 1947 in Lebanon. He has been a part of various Urdu movies and TV series. He has also sung several Urdu songs. Afif Chaya has been involved in the industry since the 1980s. Some of his famous music albums are Aalanet El Hob (1980), Al Amira (1984), Whyn Hai Turkat (1985), and Al Donya Um. He has sung several popular songs like Faltaskot Ei Doumoue, Chams L’maghareb, Hopala, Ghali Alayna, Actar Ma Sar, Afifi Habet Afif, and many others. He has also worked in Lebanese films. In 2009, he worked in Charbel: The Movie.

He played the role of a doctor. He has mostly worked in TV series. Some of his famous TV series are The Sad Night Solo (2015), The Old Love (2011), Al Armala W Al Shaytan (2011), Another Face For Love (2007), Khataya Saghira (2005), A Man From the Past- Nabil Wahbi (2004), My Grandma’s Stories (1984), and Izz ad-Din al-Qasam- Salem Voice. Afif gained a lot of fame while working in these serials. He was also involved in plays and theatres. He has been a part of the play You are the Case.

He has been popular in the industry since the 90s. But his works are also famous in the 2000s. Some of the works include the TV series Hades Aleb (2021), the TV series Caramel (2017), the short film The Weight (2016), and the TV series Nos Youm (2016). As Afif is a renowned singer, he has also given his voice to some Urdu projects. He gave his voice in a 2007 project, Tuff Incident. He also gave his voice in the TV mini-series Izz as-Din al-Qasam. Khataya Saghira, Rajol Min El-Madi, and Waves are some of his other known projects in the Lebanese film and TV industry.
