Muhammad Safdar Awan was born on 19th of January 1964 in Mansehra, Khyber, Pakistan. He is a retired army officer and a Pakistani politician. The name of his political party is Pakistan Muslim League. He has been a member of the Pakistan National Assembly for ten years, from 2008 to 2018. Talking of his early life, he joined the army soon after he completed his education. While; he served in the military, he married Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Nawaz Sharif. Awan also worked as a digital converter for the former President of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif. In 2007, he joined Sharif’s family in politics. He had been elected to the National Assembly, as a candidate of the Pakistan Muslim League party.
That year, he did defect his opponents and had a remarkable win. Noticing his active participation in the party, he was made the chairman of the Youth wing of the party. But in 2012, he was suspended from the party due to his intolerant behavior. Later in 2013, he was elected as a candidate from the same party and did win again. Gradually, his political career started growing, but soon, he was sentenced to jail due to corruption charges. Later, he was released and was free of all orders. Gradually he became an influential leader in Pakistan. He has even led several protests and helped people in every possible way. Despite the hurdles, he has proved to be an inspirational leader.
