He was born in a place named Chiniot in Pakistan on December 5, 1980. His hometown is Karachi. Saqib Khan is a graduate of the NED University of Engineering and Technology.

In 2007, he began his career as a writer in Aag TV. In 2012, he made a directorial debut on Hum TV. In the same year, he made his debut as an anchor in a show named Aadhi Raat Tak. He is also a renowned theatre performer who has performed in more than twenty professional productions from 2008 to 2013.
