Muneezay Moeen is an Urdu news anchor, TV host and columnist. She is also a writer and social activist. She graduated from Punjab University in 2017 in a degree in mass communication. Muneezay Moeen has worked with the media industry for more than eight years. She has worked with Alite, and was a part of the launching team of Neo TV in 2015. In 2016, she joined Sach TV in Islamabad as a TV host and news anchor. In 2017, she joined Dunya TV network in Lahore and became a part of their launching team. She also hosted the show Mehman e Khas for Dunya TV. She worked for the 92 News, Pakistan’s first HD news channel from October 2017 to May 2018.
She worked for Bol News in Karachi in 2019 for a year and in 2020 she joined Public News in Lahore. She also writes weekly articles and interviews for the English newspaper Daily Times and writes Urdu columns. She also heads a media forum, Global Women Media, which she launched in 2021. In December 2021, she took a break from news anchoring and TV hosting because she took over the role of media secretary of Governor in Punjab, Pakistan. She also hosted a program, Debate News Analysis (DNA), every week from Monday to Thursday with senior analysts PJ Mir, Iftikhar Ahmed, Naveed Chaudhry, and Javed Iqbal for the channel 24 News HD.
