Arshad Najudeen, alias Arshad Najumudeen, is a strategist based in Sri Lanka and the US. He completed his Diploma in Television and Film Production, Communication and Media Studies from C TV Media Academy. In 2012, he completed his Journalism course at Sri Lanka College of Journalism. He attended the Open University of Sri Lanka in 2015 to study English Language and Literature. He completed his MSc in Strategy Marketing in 2016 from Asia e University. In 2022, he attended New York Film Academy.
In 2006, he joined the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation as a contributing writer. We worked in Rupavahini TV Corporation as a program host in 2009. He worked as a multimedia content creator at the President’s Office in Sri Lanka. He was the Brand Strategist and Creative Director at ReadMe Sri Lanka. From 2010 to 2016, he worked on various channels as a program anchor and mainly anchored Sinhala and English news. Since 2021, he has been the Chief Creative Officer at The Creative Congress in Sri Lanka. Since 2022, he worked as a media consultant for the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka.
In 2019, he scripted and directed the documentary The Struggle - Silenced Voices in MMDA Reforms Process. Faiqa Najumudeen appeared in the documentary. He was the supervising producer for the 2021 film Colombo, directed by Asama Randil. In 2022, he was the associate producer of Night Rider, directed by Kasun Chandranath Pathirana.
