Nihari Perera is a Model, Actress, and Basketball player. Nihari was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 21 June 2000. From childhood, she was active in different activities, which helped her become multi-talented in various facets. She credits her upbringing and the support provided by her parents, which led her to excel in her professional career. She is also pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business and technology from an Australian University. From childhood, Nihari was interested in fashion and modeling and dreamed of walking on the ramp at a beauty pageant competition.
Her efforts and determination helped her win the Miss Teen Sri Lanka 2021 title and Miss Grand International Sri Lanka 2022. Nihari has worked as a fashion model and actress. She has worked for different advertising companies, and her first television drama aired on Hiru TV, a local Sri Lankan channel. Nihari has been actively participating in national and international basketball tournaments since childhood. She has been part of the Sri Lankan 3x3 team at the Youth Olympics 2018 in Argentina. She was also part of the Sri Lankan team in the Birmingham Commonwealth 2022 game. She is part of TSM (The Sports Manager), a Sri Lankan sports agency.
