Anushka Senanayaka is a Sri Lankan theatre actor, director, cum writer. She did her education at Ladies’ College, Colombo from 1995 to 2009. She did her Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Economics at Converse University in Spartanburg. She completed her post-graduation degree in Fine Arts and Theater Directing from Trinity College, Dublin. In 2013, she worked as an artistic director at Palmetto Players in the US. She worked in Sanitarium by Lisa Dawn and Seven Plays for Evil People by The Palmetto Players. She worked as an assistant director at The Lir - National Academy of Dramatic Art, Ireland, in 2015.

Anushka worked for Eccles Theatre Group, and This Is Pop Baby in Ireland. She is the founding artistic director of Theatre Junction (Pvt) Ltd in Colombo. The Last Five Years was her directorial venture under the Theatre Junction banner.
