Randika Gunathilaka is a well-known Sri Lankan actor working predominantly in the Sinhala television and film industry. He completed his education at D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Later he joined the University Of Visual and Performing Arts, a renowned university in Colombo, to learn the aspects of acting. He debuted in the Sinhala film industry with a short horror project, Testimony of Silence, directed by Hilusha Hewagama. The film starred Randika Gunathilaka, Sanjeewa Pathirage, and Pramoda Sasalanka and has released on 20 December 2019. The first film by Randika is Visakesa Chandrasekaram's drama, Earth, released on 21 August 2020.
