Baldev Singh Dhaliwal is an Indian writer and poet. He was born on 20 November 1959 in Punjab, India. His father is Shri Joginder Singh and his mother is Kartar Kaur. He has 2 brothers and one elder sister. He studied at Punjab University, Patiala. He has a PhD degree. He received the Bhai Veer Singh Galap award at Guru Nanak Dev University in the year 1996. He wrote the book 'Uche Tibbe Di Ret' (1982). The book contains 12 blank verses and 40 ghazals. He wrote the stories 'Opri Hawa' (1996) and Aapne Aapne Kargil (2009). He has written travelogues 'Motian Di Chog' (1999), 'Thames Nal Wagdian' (2004), and 'Chan te Tara' (2009).
