Nimrat Khaira is a popular singer and actress hailing from Punjab. Her full name is Nimratpal Kaur Khaira. She was born on August 8, 1992, in Gurdaspur, Punjab. She completed her schooling at D.A.V. Centenary School, Punjab. She pursued a Bachelor's in Biotechnology from Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Punjab. She went on to pursue her post-graduation from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, in the field of music. She learned classical music from Sushil Narang. She was a contestant in the singing reality show 'Awaaz Punjab Di.'
Her debut song was Rab Karke, a duet song with Nishawn Bhullar, released in September 2015 under the label of Punjab Records. Later, she sang two songs, "Ishq Kacheri," and "SP De Rank Wargi" which gained immense popularity and fame, both released in 2016. She has also sung the massive hit singles titled 'Dubai Wale Sheikh,' 'Brobar Boli,' 'Saunkan Saunkne,' 'Tanvi Changa Lagda,' 'Tohar,' 'Akhar,' 'Salute Wajde,' 'Suit,' 'Designer,' and 'Rohab Rakhdi.'

She won the Best Female Vocalist Award at the Brit Asia Awards for Lahoriye in 2018. She was awarded the Best Female Actress Award at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards for Teeja Punjab in 2022.
