Harinder Sohal is a charismatic singer, music director, and composer. He was born and brought up in Amritsar, a city which gave many superstars. He completed his primary education at Ramgharia Senior Secondary High School. He is predominantly working in the industry and has nearly 30 years of experience. He has worked on many projects in Hindi, Punjabi, and even Bhojpuri music industry. In 1995, he founded his cultural group named, “Sohal Group of Arts” an institute of performing arts and culture. They have preserved various folk instruments, including Dhol, Algoze, Daaria, Chimta, Duff, Sarangi, Nagada, Tumbi, and many more. He has also worked on many International projects, and he worked as a music director for the team of Heritage dancers at Liangoolen International Musical Eisteddfod, London, UK, in 2001 and in France in 2003. From 2006-2007, he performed as a music director and singer in various plays in Pakistan. His national performances include various stage and theatre shows conducted as a music director in different parts of the country like Punjab, Bihar, Delhi, UP, Mumbai, Chennai, MP, Rajasthan, and many more.

He performed as a singer and music director in the play “Kudesan,” which continued over 100 shows, and in the play “ Faasle Faasle was an epic TV serial during the early 2k. >> Read More... ,” which continued over 200 shows. Harinder gave his music in many Punjabi films like “Soch-The Thinking,” “Daud-Race for Love,” “The Blood Street” and many more. Also, he gave his music in the Bhojpuri film ‘Baa Ke Hu Mai Ke Laal.” He has won many critical acclaims and awards for his remarkable work and performances, including “Shiromni Punjab Rattan Award” by Shaheed Memorial International Sewa Society, Ludhiana, “Recognition Award” by Indian Academy of Fine Art in 2008, “Punjab Council of Art and Literature” in 2010. “Best Singer Award” by Alpha TV Punjabi, “Back Stage Award for Ek-Jut Theatre Group” at Prithvi Theatre in 2011. “Recognition Award” for Amritsar Administration in promotion of Punjabi Music in 2011, “Bhaji Gursharan Singh Theatre, “Naat Saneet Award” by Virsa Vihar Amritsar in 2013, “Rotary International Award.”
