Gunbir Singh Sidhu is a Punjabi movie producer. Gunbir was born and brought up in a Punjabi family in Chandigarh, Punjab. He went to St. Stephen`s School in Chandigarh city. After completing his schooling, he pursued graduation from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar and earned a B.Tech. degree. He then went to Imperial College in London for post-graduation. After the success of this movie, he launched his own production house and music label co-owned by his brother, White Hill Production & White Hill Music. The movies produced by his production house such as Jatt & Juliet, Punjab 1984, and Sardaarji have won the PTC award for Best Film and Punjab 1984 has also won the National Award for Best Film. The movies produced under his label are Best of Luck, Carry on Jatta 2, Jatt & Juliet 2, Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22, Muklawa, Sardaarji, Romeo Ranjha, Ardab Mutiyaran, Saab Bahadar, Jind Mahi, and Punjab 1984 among others. He has been involved in the distribution of movies like Ishq Garaari, Bhatinda Express, Heer & Hero, Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad, Control Bhaji Control, Jatts In Golmaal, and many more.
