He began learning the guitar at the young age of four and wrote his first song when he was just seven years old. He makes music of a wide genres, such as pop, rock, indie, electronic, and sufi. He can play a variety of instruments like percussion, guitar, and piano. He has worked with multiple bands, like the Delhi-based Cyanide as a drummer in 2001 and the Indi-pop group Aryans as drummer and bass player in 2006.
