Rupanjit Singh Bal known as Rupan Bal Bio coming soon... >> Read More... was born on 26 January 1990 in Amritsar, Punjab India. He was a timid kid in childhood. He did his schooling from from Spring Dale School, Amritsar, Punjab, India till grade 9. In 2005 at the age of 14, he moved to Canada and then completed his schooling from Turner Fenton Secondary School, Brampton, Ontario, Canada. He did his graduation from University of Guelph where he finished his degree in Criminology. He thought of doing computers science or becoming a lawyer but destiny turned his way towards entertainment industry. He was always a stage fright, but slowly he overcame it. In his college life, he became friend with Jus Reign though in early year both didn’t like each other but this enmity turned into friendship.

He started featuring in Jus Reigns YouTube videos where initially he had small roles but impressed by his acting skills, Jus Reign gave him role of his mother. Their criteria of comedy was bringing issues into light and making people laugh on their problems. In 2010 Google contacted them, and they were paid for their YouTube videos. His parents were very supportive throughout his journey. He debuted in Punjabi film industry through the movie ‘Haani’ in which he acted along with famous Punjabi actor and singer Harbhajan Maan. While performing in front of the camera, he also thought to work behind the camera. He thought he could work behind the camera as well as he knew how camera was operated, and he also knew editing as well.

He thought of going behind the camera because he found sustainability there, and he believed behind the camera, you never go out of the industry. He recently launched his own production company ‘Rupan Bal Films’ and now he also produces, writes, and directs short films and music videos. He also produced the English film ‘The Last King’ which got released in the year 2015. In 2017, he directed an MC SKULE educational music video ‘The F Word :Feminism’. Currently he directed the music video of Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa’s song Punjabiyan Di Dhee’. Recently he is shooting a music video of Karan Aujla’song with an international artist YG. He is also directing a commercial with an international football player Ronaldo de Assis Moreia. He is very focused on his work.
