Tarsem Singh Dhandwar, known professionally as Tarsem, is an Indian director who has created films, commercials, and music videos. Tarsem was born on May 26, 1961, in Jalandhar, Punjab, to a Punjabi Sikh family. He received his education at Bishop Cotton Boys School in Shimla. Then, he relocated to the United States of America to study business at Harvard. He also received his education at the Art Center College of Design in California.
