Harjit Singh Ricky is a well-known director of Punjabi films. He worked on several films. He was born on August 19, 1977, in Punjab's Kapurthala to his mother, Kuldeep Kaur. His extensive filmmaking experience, particularly with historical subjects, inspired him to found Cine Vision Films in 1998. Under the sincere direction of Mr. Harjit Singh Ricky, his company has completed several projects on Sikh history and commercials- feature films, documentaries films, short films, and added films, as well as more than 300 music videos. He did his education at the MDSD Sen. Sec. School in Kapurthala.
He continued his education at Jalandhar's Doaba College after that. After that, he traveled to Bombay, where he spent the hard-earned money his father had given him in 1999 to purchase a Still Photo Camera and a Video Camera. He learned a lot about his career in Mumbai. He contributed to the movies Jatt Airways and Sirphire (2012). His film Once Upon A Time In Amritsar got released in June 2016.
