Kesab Rout was a Film Producer, President of Odisha Film Producers Association, Congress Leader, and an executive committee member. He has produced several Films and TV serials. Also, he creates movies based on family genres. He was an executive committee member of UCCC (Utkal Cine Chamber of Commerce). Kesab Rout is famous for producing films and series like Chha Mana Atha Guntha in 1986, Suna Chadhei in 1988, Suna Harini in 1999, Santan in 1999, and Bhisma Pratigyan in 1992. Kesab has produced several TV serials or daily soaps. On 30th June 2019, Kesab Rout died at 68, due to cardiac arrest in Shankarpur, Cuttack, Odisha, India.
