Anupam Patnaik an Indian film producer, director and cinematographer is serving the Odia film industry. He was born in 1988 in Bhuvneshwar Odisha. After completing BBA-IT from Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, he studied M.Sc. in International Marketing Management from Leeds University Business Schools UK. The first Odia film produced by Patnaik was Tulasi Apa. This movie depicts the life of the social activist Tulsi Munda. In 2011, he initially worked as a producer and director for a television serial “Horror Zone” for Tarang channel. He, then produced and directed two short films Iccha- A Silent Urge and Smruti Memories. Being the owner of Techno Art Productions, he has also produced digital films such as ads, web series, documentaries, corporate films, etc. His first film as an actor is ‘Pratikshya’, an extract of a story written by Gourahari Das. The two films in which he has enacted are Pratikshya and Trikaanya. He is also the National Award Winner for his first featured film ‘Pratikshya’.
