Rohit Shakya is a well-known performer in the Nepali music scene. He was born on 5th September 1991, in Nepal. When he was 14 years old, he played his first show in a band in which he played bass. In 2008, he started working with Rec Records, mixing and mastering music. The music for five films, including "Dui Rupaiyaan," "VISA," and "Kabaddi," was composed by Rohit Shakya. During his tour to the UK, Australia, and Sikkim, he had the opportunity to travel widely. With "the rap-song" for the film "Dui Rupaiyaan," he gained notoriety. Together with Aashish Rana, a renowned vocalist from Nepal, Rohit sang this song. Some of his famous songs are ‘Mellow’, ‘Wondergods’, ‘Mero Naakaa’ and many others.
