Kengal Mehar Shrestha is a Nepali singer born on September 5, 1996, in Bhaktapur, Nepal. She rose to fame after she participated in Nepal Idol Season 1 in 2017, where she was one of the Top 10 finalists. She also used to perform in various radio programs along with her father. Kengal completed her schooling in Kathmandu. Later she pursued her Masters’s from IIMS College, where she studied Masters’s in Business Administration. In 2014, Kengal joined the ‘Music Musica Institute’. She is very popular among the youth of Nepal. Kengal also has a band named ‘Type III'. She also has her Youtube channel, ‘Kengal Mehar Shrestha Official'. Some of her popular songs include Sabda, Bhawana Haru, Aasha Ma, and Jau an Aau. Moreover, she is associated with channels like Arbitrary Channel and Uglyz.
