Manoj Gajurel was born on 12 May 1974 in Khebang, Tapeljung, Nepal. He is a Nepalese comedian, model, singer, actor and judge of a reality show Comedy Champion. He did many stage programs and visited almost all districts of Nepal to attend the programs. He was casted in the film Pooja (2010), 100 Kada 10 (2019) and also received an award for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role Male in Kamana Film Award 2076. He judged the Comedy Champion Season 1 in 2019. He got married to Manju Pokharel on 11 October 2021.
Bhawani Prasad Gajurel and Indramaya Gajurel are his parents. He has an elder brother, Keshav Gajurel. When Manoj was four months old, he lost his father. His mother raised him and his brother as a single parent. Manoj completed his schooling at Padmodaya High School in Putali Sadak, Kathmandu. Manoj started his career with comedy skits on Radio Nepal, which helped him develop his political satire skills.
Manoj married Mina Dhakal in 1994. They divorced in 2019. Manoj and Mina have two children together. His second wife, Manju, is an officer in the judiciary service. Besides mimicking Narendra Modi, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and Donald Trump, Manoj is also popular for mimicking political leaders, including Mahinda Rajapaksha and Gyanendra Shah. Manoj also runs a website, Gajureal, a humour satire portal.
