Manoj Kumar RC, also known as Manoj RC, is a Nepali film actor renowned for his versatile acting skills. He was born on 11th May 1983, in the remote area of Paink, in the Jajarkot district of Mid-Western Nepal. He grew up with a younger brother. His father was a government employee working for the Ministry of Education in Nepal. Despite being born in Jajarkot, Manoj’s family had to relocate frequently due to his father’s job, leading him to explore many parts of Nepal.

In 1998, he completed his secondary education at Janata Higher Secondary School in Khalanga, Rukum district. During his school years, he excelled academically and was actively involved in extracurricular activities such as martial arts and drama. Manoj, in his pursuit of higher education in Kathmandu, engaged not only in academic studies but also in acting classes and martial arts training. Manoj RC debuted in the film industry with a supporting role in the historical film Bir Ganesham in 2002. The film was directed by Sahajman Shreshtha and Bijay Ratna Tuladhar, with a script by Nabindra Raj Joshi, produced under the banner of the Ganesh Man Singh Study Foundation. His first leading role in a feature film came in the thriller and young love story Lakshya 2004, produced by Harendra Limbu and directed by Manoj Pandit. In 2016, he took on the leading role in the film Jhumkee. His eagerly awaited movie, Mithya, is expected to be released soon, adding to his diverse filmography. Manoj RC has been recognized for his exceptional performance, receiving the Kamana Film Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for his work in the blockbuster Madhumas. Audiences showered his performance in the film with high praise.

He gained prominence through his debut historical film, Bir Ganeshman, where he portrayed the role of martyr Gangalal Shreshtha in 2002. His first leading role in a film was in Lakshya. Additionally, Manoj RC has made notable appearances in music videos, including the song Paap Punya by Hemant Rana. Beyond his acting career, Manoj RC is also a humanitarian. He actively participated in street dramas addressing sanitation and health issues in areas affected by the April 2015 Nepal earthquake.
