Shilpi Raj

Shilpi Raj was born on March 25, 2002, in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, to an impoverished family consisting of her parents, three sisters and an elder brother. She completed her studies till 10th standard in a government school in her village, after which she moved to Patna with her brother’s close friend. She used to participate in all the singing programs that her school organised, however, she discovered her interest and talent in music after performing at a small public program held in Aane village. She received music training from Ramanand Swamiji of Siwan and made up her mind about becoming a professional singer.

In 2017, she made her debut in the Bhojpuri music industry with the song Bhukur Bhukur Light Barem Karejau along with Sameer Sawan.
