Munna Dubey is a compelling lyricist, music director, composer, and singer working predominantly in Bhojpuri and Hindi music industry. He was born in Niyazipur in Buxar district of Bihar, currently residing in Mumbai. His family and close friends supported him, stood by him, and encouraged him throughout his journey. He completed his Engineering degree in Kharagpur, West Bengal. During his college days only, he began to write song lyrics whenever he had time. He was greatly inspired and influenced by many old Bollywood singers like Mukeshji. He had written over 800 songs and worked in around 53 films as a music director, writer, and composer. He aims to maintain the old legacy of Bhojpuri songs while inspiring others to avoid vulgarity.

Though he majorly works in the Bhojpuri and Hindi music industry, some of his songs are also produced in other languages like Gujarati, Nepali, and even Bengali. In 2022, he received the “Best Music Director” award at the BEFA Awards for his song “Papa ki Pari” in the movie, “Beti Number 1” produced by Yash Kumar Yash Kumar, a renowned Nepali actor, singer, and m >> Read More... .
