The album was released online in 2006. He is best known for his famous songs like Raja Jawaan Ham Laik and Raja Taani Jaai Na Bahariya.

Rakesh Mishra made his film debut in 2013. He worked in the Bhojpuri film Prem Deewani. The next year, in 2014, he worked in the movie Deewangi Had. The same year, he worked in the film Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya and Ek Laila Teen Chhaila. In 2015, he worked in films like Jaan Tere Liye, Madhubala, and Barsaat.
