Plot
Karthikeya 2 revolves around the journey of Karthikeya, who embarks on a journey to find an auspicious anklet. This anklet has some philosophical references, it is believed that the anklet possesses all the solutions to the worldly problems in Kaliyuga. Karthikeya is a realistic believer doctor who accompanies his mother to Dwarka for a ritual. Unusual things are happening to him, from being accused of murder to being attacked by the Abheera clan.
Karthikeya then finds out that he has been chosen to protect this anklet from all the ill-intentioned people including the Santanu and Abheera clan. He has an incredible person helping him in the shape of Mugdha. She supports him and at times protects him too, but with all the hardships on his way, will he be able to find and protect this anklet?

Star Performances
The best performance is of Nikhil Siddhartha, this movie is his break in the acting industry. Nikhil portrays a modern doctor who is suddenly burdened with the huge responsibility of an anklet with a mythological touch to it. His acting, emotion-packed expressions, and dialogues captivate the crowd. His casting in this movie was one of the best decisions that contributed highly when it came to this movie’s overall performance.
Analysis
Karthikeya 2 lived to the standard of its previous movie, Karthikeya. This movie puts Tollywood at a pinnacle like never before. The movie focuses on mythological suspense that has been introduced initially upon which the movie is built articulately. The backstory and purpose of the conflict raised are also explained briefly, leaving no questions unanswered.
The cast chosen has delivered to perfection, be it from Nikhil Sidhartha portraying Karthikeya or Anupama Parameswaran as Mugdha. Their performances add to the glory of this movie. To let the viewers visualize the story BGMI effects are used creatively. It is commendable how this movie focuses on religious history, but not once does it cause hurt to any individual. All in all, this movie came up with a fresh concept that was delivered in the best way possible.
