Coronavirus is a thriller film produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The film has Srikanth Iyengar, Vamsee Chaganti, Sonia Akula, Dora Sai Teja and Dakkshi Guttikonda in the cast. Agasthya Manju directed the film. DSR composed the music.
Rani is a married girl and as usual, she had a fight with her mother-in-law. After her husband returns home, she complains to him and says that she wants to go to her parents. Her father-in-law informs them about the lockdown announcement and they are shocked about the lockdown, which is new in recent years. Soon, Rani’s sister-in-law Shanthi goes unwell and this makes the entire family worry about their future. What happens next? Is that a corona attack? The answers form the rest of the story.
Srikanth Iyengar is good at emoting. Dakshi Guttikonda and Vamsi Chaganti had given decent performances.
The movie starts with normal scuffles at home. Then starts a corona scare. When people expect some interesting sequence to follow, the director disappointed them till the end. However, a couple of stars did justice to the roles given. Is this an RGV movie? People who watch the film will definitely question like this. No traces of RGV in the film, although it is directed by his assistant. The movie started well, but it is not carried out properly. Many scenes didn’t give a contemporary look and irk the audience.
What’s Not There?
If some unwanted scenes in the film had been cut, the movie would have been crisper. If you don’t have any interesting movies to watch, then you can try this, just for a new experience!
