Murder is directed by Anand Chandra. The film has the star cast of Srikanth Iyengar, Gayatri Bhargavi and Sahiti. Natti Karuna and Natti Kranthi produced the film.
Madhav Rao lives a decent life and he is one of the respectable people in his town. He is married to Vanaja and the couple has a daughter, Namrata. They plan to seek a suitable groom for Namrata after she completes her studies. To their shock, Namrata marries Praveen without their consent. This pushes Madhav Rao to a weak position and he plans to kill his son-in-law. Did his plan work out? The answer forms the rest of the film.
Srikanth Iyengar did a commendable job as Madhav Rao. He emoted pretty well and his character comes with a mixture of all emotions. Gayatri’s chemistry with Srikanth is good and she got a decent role too. Similarly, Sahiti is okay with the given role.
The story starts with a regular love story and opposition from parents. As usual, the lead character tries to do honor killing, a decision taken in a fraction of seconds without thinking about the consequences. The movie has nothing impressive than the decent performances of the stars. Some places seem to be overdramatic and some places impress with subtle performances.
What’s Not There?
The film comes with some interesting sentimental scenes. The stars have done their part well and that’s the main reason to watch the film. If the climax had been shot better, the film might have been a hit.
