Shriya Jha is a talented Oriya and Telugu actress who has recently made a mark by featuring in popular Hindi tele-serials. Born in Musoorie, Shriya always had a passion for acting and modeling. She began her career as a model when she was chosen for the Telugu flick, Geetha. Her performance in the film was noteworthy, however, this film failed to gain any commercial or critical success. She had also featured in a few Oriya films like ‘Ama Bhitare Kichi Kichi’, ‘Luchakali’ and ‘Satru Sanghar’. ‘Ama Bhitare Kichi Kichi’ is a cult romance, ’Luchakali’ is an action-drama and ‘Shatru Sanghar’ is a romantic drama film. Her roles bucked up her popularity and made her common name in the Oriya Film Industry. However, Shirya wanted to move an extra edge and so, she planned to go for Hindi tele serials. Her superb acting skills bagged her, the leading role of ‘’. This serial was launched by Rajshri productions and aired of Sahara One and it gave her huge fame and popularity. Her role of the leading lady, with innocent and cute gestures was loved by one and all.
