Tumhare Siwa is an Urdu language soap opera based on Wasi Shah’s novel. The drama airs every Friday at 8 pm on Hum TV, the original release of this series was between 21 August 2015 – 15 January 2016. Characters of the series are Arsal- The best friend of Aazar, married to Samra, and has a daughter. Aazar- Best friend of Arsal, married to Rania, has a son. Samra-Arsal's wife was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Rania-Aazar's wife deals with the tensions arising from Samra's illness. Tania- Aazar's sister. Babar - Tania's husband, also known as the "Mac Daddy." Arsal and Aazar are close friends leading happy lives with their families. Samra's health takes a downturn as she suffers from severe headaches and is diagnosed with a brain tumour. The cost of Samra's surgery is unaffordable for Arsal, leading him to consider a "paper marriage" with Aazar.

This way, Samra's expenses could be covered by Aazar's insurance, and they plan to remarry once she recovers. Tragedy strikes when, unfortunately, Arsal dies in a car accident while Samra survives but sustains injuries. Now, Aazar is left with the responsibility of supporting both Samra and Rania. As time passes, Aazar develops feelings for Samra, creating tension between him and Rania. Rania tries to convince Aazar to divorce Samra, but he refuses, citing his duty to financially and emotionally support his late friend's wife. Samra gets injured in a car accident. Babar, who is married to Tania, also starts developing feelings for Samra, leading to a confrontation with Aazar, where Babar gets slapped. Babar tells Tania about the incident, but Tania finds it hard to believe her brother could do such a thing.
