The story starts with two adult sisters, Saira and Faria. Faria is a 20-year-old beautiful woman. She is a University student. Her elder sister, Saira is less pretty than Faria. Saira had been engaged to her cousin, Shezan, for 6 years until he broke off the engagement. Saira was brokenhearted and felt used. Since then, her mother has been trying to marry Saira off, but she gets rejected due to her age. Saira, rather remains depressed. Faria does not share good relations with her as Saira is not getting married. Faria wants to get married but cannot marry unless Saira gets married. Therefore, she hates Saira.

Faria has a friend, Sarem, in her college. Sarem looks at her like a friend. But Faria loves and wants to marry him. Sarem and Faria are close friends. Sarem’s mother is diagnosed with a brain tumor, and she has a few days to live. She wants to see Sarem get married before dying. Saira goes to suicide when, fortunately, Sarem stops her and both talk about their unfortunate lives. They form a bond. Siara raches home late that night, and her mother thinks she is with a man. She criticizes her. Saira and Sarem keep on meeting each other as they bond over their mutual life. Saira’s mother is against their friendship as it will not help Saira get married. Saira’s mother pleads with Sarem to marry her. Sarem likes her and agrees to marry her.

When Saria’s family comes to Sarem’s home to talk, Faria is shocked to find that it is Sarem’s home. She is furious at Saira. When Saira and Sarem’s mother meet each other, they are shocked. It turns out that Saira’s father, Siddiqui, and Sarem’s father, Arshad were business partners. Arshad cheated Siddiqui and took over the whole business with false allegations against him. It took a toll on Siddiqui, and he died. Saira’s mother blames Arshad’s family for Siddiqui’s death. The new information breaks their relationship. However, Sarem and Saria try to mend their familial relations. Faria conspires to break their relationship so that she can marry Sarem. The bond between the sisters cracks more. However, Saira learns to take her stand against her sister, Faria.
