The story revolves around a Railway Station Master. When he was young, he had to leave his family to go to another city to work. He lives alone while working in a railway station. All his work life, he never contacted his family. He put all his time into his work. When he finally retires at the age of sixty, he thinks of visiting his home. He packs all his bags and leaves for his home permanently.

While going home, he thinks about how happy his family would be to see him. As he reaches home, a shock awaits him. His family is not happy to see him. They are rather angry that he is back in their lives. According to them, he had abandoned them. He had never tried to contact them when he lived outside. His family has erased him from their lives. They have been living happily without him all these years. They do not want to keep any relation with him. He realizes that he is not welcome in this house anymore.

He realizes his mistakes and feels sad. He roams around the locality of his house. A taxi driver sees him and befriends him. The man shares his problems. The taxi driver and the retired station master become good friends. The taxi driver is a kind-hearted man who decides to help the man. He helps him to devise plans to woo his family. The taxi driver tries to guide and advise his friend to help him out of this situation.
