Sara Sajeeda is a Pakistani television drama series produced in 2019. The series premiered from 3 October to 25 November, 2019. This cross-border production spanned two nations, with Malaysia and Pakistan as its countries of origin. The series consists of a total of 30 episodes. Fadzil Teh was the producer of the show, and shooting was done in two distinct locations: the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and the historic city of Lahore in Pakistan. In the Television series "Sara Sajeeda," the story revolves around Sara (played by Tiz Zaqyah), a college lecturer who faces pressure from her father to marry Megat (portrayed by Fahrin Ahmad). However, their marriage ends due to Sara's inability to tolerate Megat's controlling behavior, reminiscent of her father's actions, without her consent. Meanwhile, there is a young boy, Fawaad (played by Arslan Asad Butt), from Pakistan, living abroad. When he returns to his family in Lahore, he faces a difficult choice between family and his career, as he has been offered an engineering job in Malaysia. He ultimately decides to start a new life in Kuala Lumpur.

Fawaad and Sara coincidentally encounter each other several times by fate, and they eventually start developing feelings for each other. Their marriage got decided, but just before the wedding, Fawaad has to rush to his family upon learning about a massive earthquake in Pakistan.

Upon returning to his family, Fawaad discovers that his family is preparing for his wedding, which shocks and pains him. He does not want to marry the person his parents chose but agrees with his mother Saima's decision. He feels remorse for Sajeeda (portrayed by Anmol Baloch), who lost her parents in a landslide and earthquake. While returning to Malaysia, complications arise when Sara confesses her love for Fawaad, revealing they are already married without genuine affection.
