The story follows the life of Dr. Khalid, who recently completed his degree from America and is returning to Pakistan, his house. While he was returning to his home, he met a cheerful girl named Gulrukh, who had a very talkative nature. Khalid tells her he is getting engaged to Zubiya in a few days, but he doesn’t want to marry her as she is not the type of girl he wants. After a long conversation between them, Gulrukh insists on coming with him to his house. Khalid agrees, and they both go to Khalid’s mansion, where his mother welcomes them.

Later, Khalid falls in love with Gulrukh and wants to marry her, but Gurlrukh realizes she made a mistake by coming in between Khalid and Zubiya. Therefore, she leaves the house. After some days, Khalid learns that Gulrukh’s father is finding her as she disappeared a few days ago. After a lot of effort, he finds Gulrukh, and she tells him that she has forgotten her father and family. Khalid insists her for the treatment as he is a psychiatrist. The series represents how Khalid struggles to make Gulrukh well and marry her. The drama represents love, romance, struggles, and much more.
