The exciting and scary part of life is its uncertainty. One day it's full of happy moments, the next day you'll feel heartbroken. This series shows us how uncertainty plays with the lives of people. Zara and Sara are two sisters who have different dreams about their lives. They live with their father, Aalam. Their widowed aunt, Phuppo, frequently visits their house. Her son, Saad, has a liking for Zara. But Phuppo despises them both. The reason is her dislike of Aalam's wife since the start. Zara and Zain are deeply in love. They convinced their parents to accept their marriage. Happy with the family, Aalam plans Sara's marriage to Jaffar, Zain's elder brother. Everything goes fine till the marriage day of Sara and Jaffar. Later, they get into a misunderstanding, which makes Jaffar break the marriage.

Zara's efforts to convince Jaffar turn vain as he leaves the place with his mother. His mother gets into an accident. So, Zain rushes to stay by her. Here, Aalam gets furious over Jaffar's rude attitude. He refuses to let his other daughter marry into their marriage. And so, he forces Zara to marry Saad. Phuppo is stunned by Aalam's decision. She takes all her grudges out on Zara. Not only does she insult her, she also turns her son against her. Zain becomes disheartened upon hearing about their marriage. He still loves Zara and tries to speak with her. He wishes to reunite with her. But his actions only put her in more trouble. Saad becomes jealous of Zain and suspects Zara's innocence. Zara has changed her mind and is starting to accept her new life. But Saad misunderstands her and tortures her every day.

At some point, Zara decides to leave the house. She faints in the street and becomes sick. Zaffar notices her and provides her shelter in his home. He feels bad about his past actions. But Saad misunderstands this and thinks that she has left with Zain. In the following days, Saad is diagnosed with a brain tumour. He then realises the true nature of his mother and the innocence of Zara. He feels horrible about his actions and yells at his mother for ruining his life. His mother gets devastated after learning about his condition and realises her misdoings. She reaches out to Zara and begs her forgiveness. Will she forgive her? What happened to Sara? Did Zain give up his love for Zara? Well, that becomes the storyline here.
