Mona possesses a typical Eastern wife who is loving, caring, and docile. Her husband is as angelic as she is. Although Mona's husband is quite mature and responsible and always sacrifices himself to strengthen the family bond, Naeem, has the opposite personality traits.
He is a naturally corrupt, dishonest, and intelligent man. Shehla’s one and only sister married their maternal cousin, Asif. Mona is the eldest daughter-in-law of this standard household system headed by a matriarch. Naeem's habit of taking advantage of people and blackmailing his older brother for money comes to light. Mona silently observes his actions. Later, Naeem by Asif in his evil plans against Mona and her brother. Various types of jiggery-pokery and internal politics come into play as the play concludes.
