, and Faisal Qureshi. The story follows a director, a local female writer, and a heroine from across the border as their lives change when they meet and collaborate on a serial. A TV channel director, Asim, is handed a story for a show by writer Bina. While at work, they get closer and start dating, which eventually results in marriage. Surendar Kaur, a Sikh heroine, is brought over the border and stays with Asim and Bina. Salman, Asim's father, owns the biggest advertising agency in the city. His wife, Zaini, constantly feels inferior to him.
Asim spends most of his time with Shahla as soon as the production starts. Asim interrupts Bina as she begins to share her ideas for the serial and orders her to focus solely on domestic matters. Shahla thinks of Asim as a stepping stone for her, while Asim has fallen in love with her as they grow closer. Asim weds Surendar after Bina fails to conceive. Salman meets Soofia, the hardworking and helpful girl who is his manager's daughter. When Salman asks for his manager's hand in marriage, the manager is overjoyed! But life is not that easy.
