The show's storyline focuses on Aqsa, a young girl who lives in a joint family with her mother Zahra, uncle, aunt, and her cousin Aazan. Aqsa and Aazan share an extremely close bond. Aqsa is in her final college year.

Zahra wishes to marry Aqsa to Aazan due to their understanding and friendship. However, Aazan's mother, Riffat, opposes this and announces Aazan's engagement to Tayyaba. Tayyaba is Riffat’s cunning and jealous niece. Meanwhile, Bi Jaan, an influential figure in the family, suggests Aqsa to marry her son Ahmed. And with all of these complications, Aqsa agrees to marry Ahmed, a mature and educated doctor.

Tayyaba and Beenish, Ahmed's sister-in-law, scheme against Aqsa due to jealousy.The story takes a tragic turn when Aqsa loses her mother, becoming homeless. As Aqsa goes through difficulties, the show portrays just how strong and brave of a woman she is. Will she be able to decide between true love and friendship despite the tactics created by Tayyaba and Beenish? Will she be able to face it all without her mother? The rest of the story deals with this.
