Aakhri Milan is the first part of Darr, a Pakistani serial premiered in 2022 on Sab TV Pakistan. It is an Urdu serial that focuses on paranormal activities. Aakhri Milan is a story about a spirit meeting his lover and taking her away in his spirit world. The first part focuses on the life of Yashma as she reunites with Mesam, her dead lover. Yashma was a fun, loving, and enthusiastic woman. She was in a relationship with Mesam; however, on valentine’s day because of a prank pulled by Yashma, Mesam lost his life, and Yashma got traumatized. She got distant from reality for one year and got into therapy. Yashma lives with her mother and Huma, her elder sister. Huma is a psychiatrist and observes Yashma to make her feel better without medication. She is a supporting sister and doesn’t panic about Yashma’s mental condition.

The story begins when Yashma tells her family that she met Mesam and enjoys his company. Yashma’s mother is petrified that Yashma’s boyfriend didn’t die and has reconciled with her. However, Huma calmed her mother by informing her that this Mesan is charming, unlike the previous guy. Yashma is in love with Mesam and admires his presence. The story escalates when Mesam disappears. Yashma is disheartened and decides to seek help from her family to find him. However, it is revealed that Yashma was meeting and bonding with Mesam’s ghost for all this while. Huma and her mother get scared for Yashma’s mental well-being and ask her to accept the fact and forget Mesam.

In some other house, Mesam’s spirit was fighting to meet Yashma and ask her about her feelings for him. Mesam’s mother fears the activities and confides in a spirit-calling expert. The expert has preserved Mesam’s dead body for a year to be able to grant salvation to the spirit. However, Mesam’s spirit got out of hand and wanted to take Yashma away with him in his paranormal world. Will Mesam’s spirit be able to achieve his goal? What will happen next?
